As our Ashram is a place for learning and practice of hatha yoga, meditation and silence, all visiting sadhakas (guests) are to join in the daily activities in the Ashram’s schedule, such as morning and evening prayers, hatha yoga sessions, meditation, seva activities, various classes and other programs. The day usually begins at 5:30 am with morning prayers, hatha yoga and meditation and ends at around 9 pm after evening prayers.
Sadhakas also have the opportunity to attend Swami Ritavan’s classes and meditations when he is in residence. Video and audio recordings of lectures by Swami Rama and Swami Veda on various topics are featured on a regular basis. The same are available in the bookstore for the Sadhakas.
All our visiting sadhakas come from afar, setting aside time, energy, and money to stay and learn at SRSG. We encourage all to be mindful of their purpose for coming to the ashram so that they can make the best use of the opportunities available here for their personal growth and transformation.
While all our programs and retreats largely follows this same daily schedule, it may be subject to change during special and/or unforeseen events.
